I've been watching wild tv and see alot of hunters with a big # across the back,whats that for?

I could be wrong, but I believe some states require that...I guess it's kinda like wearing your hunting license.

Actually, it is EXACTLY that.

Here in PA our license must be displayed in the middle of the back at all times while we are hunting. I know Wisconsin is the same way.

I wish we didn't have to do it, it's a big pain in the pants. It's so much easier to just stick it in your wallet.

Yeah Im not a fan of the back tag thing either.

huh? number on the back? i've never heard of that. we don't have to do that in texas, nor in colorado or new mexico where we hunt. you actually write your number on your stuff or what? not trying to sound stupid, but never really heard of that. hhhmmm!

We throw ours in our wallet.

How many of ya'll still have actual tags? We don't anymore. Just have to notch out a piece of paper on our license.

We got them too! Heck we even still got to use flintlocks in our muzzleloader season. Im waiting for them to ban compound bows!:confused:
