Hissing Hellrazors??!!
Alright Ralph, Vicki, and the Posse:
I know you shoot Hellrazors. Do they hiss when you shoot them? Mine sure do. Is this normal? Can it be fixed? Will it cause deer to jump my string? The good news is that they are flying like darts for me:) |
I had the same problem with the G5 Montecs. How fast are you shooting???
I don't know of a way to fix it, I had to switch heads. The G5 guys told me it was from shooting over 300 fps. G5 claims to have fixed it on there heads. Good luck!!! |

I've shot them at 290fps. Great head but my hearing isn't what it use to be but I have not noticed any hissing sounds. Again some high pitched levels of sound are no longer for me to hear.

Anyone ever have game react to the hissing? I love how sharp they are and they fly great for up to 35 yrds (my farthest distance).

I have NOT heard hissing from the Hellrazors....if even they did, Im not sure reation time would matter (depending on the bow).
This guy did not hear a thing.... |
Every once in a great while we did hear a little hiss, but nothing that seemed to create a problem. The Hellrazor is a sweet broadhead and I just took an elk at 33 yards and a moose at 5 feet with them and the critters had no idea!! :):):)
