What's in your Daypack/Backpack?
Hey All, I've been out of Big Game hunting since I moved to AZ 15 years ago...well...I put in and got drawn for a cow elk this year...I'm gun hunting this year and gonna switch back to archery for next year. I'm just wondering what is in everyone's Daypack/Backpack??? I have 2+ knives, game bags, water, snacks, first aid kit, flashlight, fire starter, space blanket. What else am I missing...what are your "must haves"? Thanks!!!

what you listed...+
range finder, binocs, extra tree hooks, field dressing gloves, small limb pruner (ratcheting), cell phone, dead down wind field wipes, extra safety rope. small role of duct tape, parachute cord. |
I don't know how I missed duct tape!!! :p

Badlands Pack are my numero uno. I have the Monster fanny pack and the whitetail backpack and both carry great and have pockets galore.

Extra socks! Keep your feet dry and comfortable. It's amazing how a fresh pair of socks makes you feel a WHOLE lot better! Take care of your feet and they'll take care of you.

Oh Boy...that's a GOOD one...thanks!

If I'm going into an area that I'm not completely firmiliar with I always carry my GPS. It doesn't take very long to get turned around if you're tracking an animal after dark.

extra batteries for whatever needs them, also depending on weather I keep a couple extra chemical handwarmers in there too.
|
I'm surprised no one has TP with them! It can be used for more than it's intended purpose.
