is anyone else ready to wack some fish! Around here we normally shoot common carp, dogfish and needle nose gar. Some of the carp get over 40#'s I'd love to do a gator gar or saltwater trip sometime though!

Love to....got a boat?:rolleyes: I'm always a scab on someone elses boat, might have to cut back on a couple hunts so I can buy one! I've built a couple platforms and rigged up lights on their boats so I've earned a free ticket. You can have great sucess on creeks if you're sneaky!

Yes the Missouri river is loaded with them, there is a archery season in july and a snagging season in October, must draw tag for both.

I've seen people bowfishing on TV where they just run the boat across the water and the fish jump out of the water. then the shooters try to shoot the fish in the air. I've also seen other videos, not bowfishing, but just running on the water where the fish are jumping all around. what kind of fish is that, and where are they?

I think them are silver carp?? they are a nussiance fish and take over. thankfully we don't have them. It does look like fun though.
