2009 Carroll County Food Plots
 

Spent the last 3 days planting 5 acres of summer food plots and preparing another 3 acres for fall/winter plots to be planted in August. Sunburned, tired and praying for rain. But the best part I had my 6 year old son and 2 Godsons with me the whole time. They were troopers.

great start......I checked on my summer plot yesterday and it is coming along very nicely.....and it is in Mt. Carroll also:)

Do you live in Carroll County? You and I are a few of the crazy people that hunt in a county with NO deer;)

Oh...uh..yeah there's lots of deer, but they're all does and little bucks...nothing big...:rolleyes:

No I do not live in Mt. Carroll. Uncle has 300 acres off Elizabeth blacktop and have been hunting there for the last 10 years. And you are right I never said I have ever seen any deer. The food plots are for the rabbits and squirrels. All the deer are up in Jo Daviess County

I do most of my hunting just north of Elizabeth blacktop....east of 78.
