It can't help my No. 5's Kill a turkey!! What kind of a call are you making here!! :D :D

I've been using your call all season and the birds have liked it, just not wanting to come all the way to it. Finally yesterday I was set up on 2 birds that strutted in front of me for 15 minutes the day before, before leaving. What a show.
Anyway I snuck in yesterday and got to where they were strutting before.

Had me Hen Decoy out to my right and slightly behind me. I called and they gobbled back, but then went deeper in the woods. I fought with myself to not get up and go closer, so I just waited them out.
Fog started to roll in and take away my sight, and I was now swallowed up by it and could only see 60 yards either way.
I Didn't call for a while and then I hit them. They gobbled and were closer, but to the right. So I scooted around the tree so I was pointed down a nice path, yet I could still swing left if I had to.
Called again and they answered closer yet. Then I see white specks moving off in front. Then feathers spread out into a fan, a full fan. They were coming.
They started swinging left, so I slowly got my gun in place. Safety off, Red Dot on.
What beautiful birds they were as they started my way. From 40 yards they stopped and were looking. Two nice long beards on two nice heavy birds.
Then it was a race into me. They did a nice trot my way and I just let them come. At 30 yards though, they started going more and more left. Finally at 20-25 yards I couldn't swing left anymore and knew I had to take the shot asap. Well...............
I thought for sure I dropped the back bird. But I guess not as I watched them take off the way they came. I was so ticked at myself. Had I not scooted over to the right of the tree, I think I could have dropped one at 15 yards.

I guess it was more of the shooters fault rather than the calls.

Just had to tease. Adam makes a good call all!! :)

All the excitement of the gobbles, calling them in, the shot and ya didn't have to clean 'em! Sounds pretty sucessful to me! Gotta love this stuff, huh?

All in all, it sounds like a good time. Bettter luck to ya next time around, gal.
