Opening day in Ontario
 

Well we started the season off good here in Ontario opening day with two toms before lunch. I shot mine 20 minutes after he flew down off the roost, at 38 yards with the shotgun. 8 1/8" beard, matching 7/8" spurs and weighting in at 18 1/2lbs

My hunting partner shot his at 10:40am came in silent till he was at the decoys. Working an different bird in the other direction. Shot him at 20 yards, 8 3/4" beard, matching 7/8" spurs and weighted in at 18lbs

On to our second birds now both which we are going to try to harvest with our bows.
