Got a new Katera

I was going to buy the Alphamax, but I had shoulder surgery and OnTarget2 said I could get the Katera down to 51 lbs with my Axis N-Fused 400 arrows and still have good spine.

I got the Katera, 50/60, 28". I also really like the Z3 cams. My brother put them on his Trykon and they are great. The velocity should be around 267, which is faster than my Vectrix. The Vectrix is a good bow but I would need to stay at 60 lbs and I never want to injure my shoulder tendons again.

Anyway, I have been buying the accessories and should be able to shoot again around July if all goes well. HHA sight, NoPeep, braided wrist sling, Fuse Axium stablizer, Fuse 2-piece Satori quiver, Whisker Biscuit, and the 180 grip. SRM

I got the release from the doctor and shot my new bow. What a great feeling. I adjusted the center shot and No-Peep first. Then I bare shaft tuned with no problems. I shot some arrows and had the 1" dot zeroed in no time.

I quit there on a good note. Next session I will shoot from different yardage. I am still keeping my sessions short while my bow muscles build back up. I am so happy!

Did I tell you the Katera with Z-3 cams is very smooth? I am only shooting 51 lbs and that is fine with me. SRM
