Where's everyone going this spring?

Me and my hunting partner were talking about heading to besnard lake(west of La ronge) in n.sask but he has a chance to go on a muskox hunt in april so now we will probably going back to last years spot north of llyodminster.There is a biger bear there then the one I got and one with a white V on his chest.

This is probably a little known fact about Saskatchewan......more trophy bears on the books from Sask. than any where else. I was shocked but its true.

We're planning on setting some baits just south of the Cold Lake Air Weapons Range here in Alberta. Lots of bears, great country, great time of year to be in the woods.

Cold Lake is the name of a large lake on the Alberta/Saskatchewan border. It's also the name of a town and a large Canadian Forces Air Force base, for which they have an Air Weapons Range (imagine that, an air weapons range for the air force!!)LOL. We can't go inside the boundary (who would want to!!??!), but we can hunt just outside of it. It's all boreal forest, with good game numbers, and it's only two hours away, and I am so looking forward to hunting bears up there this year.

Quebec - near Rouayn-Noranda probably closer to Kirkland Lake ONT.. Sure hope the weather is better than last year but it can't be any worse 6 days of snow, rain & freezing rain. Also we will be going a week later this year which will be the last week of May.

well cant hunt here in pa until fall.but i hooked up with a guy that has a hot spot.he said he sees bear every time he goes their.so im going there this spring and scout it out.cant wait!:)

Only 6 responses? I thought that there would be a whole lot more folks going on a spring hunt.

I had to pass on my annual trip to New Brunswick...I'm sure gonna miss it!! Too busy trying to push through the last few classes for my degree :( I'll be going again next spring, to Idaho I think for a color phase :)
