Heading to Mississippi
 

Me and my dad are heading down to Mississippi to hunt whitetails in the rut for a week the day after christmas, can't wait! Anyone know how the hunting down there has been so far?

Where exactly?

I hunt in mid January in Sumter County, Alabama right on the Mississippi line. Seems the rut always kicks in there around mid January.

Franklin, and Adams county, its on the south western side.

I've always wanted to head to the southern states for a January deer hunt.....good luck!!!

Ya this will be my first time going down there, we have relatives who live down there, and my uncle has property, and asked us to come down and hunt. Its all going to be on film. I can't wait. Thanks
