NOT the rut..yet
 

At 6:25pm two big does, four little deer and about at the end of this little parade, a big body 6 pointer even wider than the one I got last week. Not a thick rack but nice.

Just as I was getting ready with the bow down the driveway comes my kid's buddy in his car. Off goes the buck before I had a chance to draw down on him.

Interesting to note the buck was feeding behind the does and they did not seem pushed by the buck. I figure in 10 days the rut will be on! Hopefully, this buck or his bigger brother will get in my way!;)

I hope its soon,I'm heading north in 4 more days for WT again.

I have scene bucks chasin does with my own eyes!!!!

if we get some gosh darn cold temps, the rut will be on like no other.:)

The rut is nice here, but we only have does on does action, yep no bucks here:D:D:D


Just kidding, we've had some good encounters lately. I been seening bucks moving well in the warm temps though. They are simply crusing their battle grounds.
