I posted this on the "User's Hunting Diary" but thought some of you hard core bear guys would like it. I took this boar last month from the ground while I was archery elk hunting. He came in to a cow call. He measured 7,3' and weighed 429..It is the new Oregon (pending) state archery record...sometimes a guy just gets lucky!!;)

Lucky is worth a bunch in your case with this monster bruin. It would have had me questioning my sanity at less than 20 yards facing this one eye to eye. Very nice skull size for a mature boar. Congrats again.
