The Bottom Pic isn't showing up for me. Hard to believe it's coming off already! Haven't seen any getting rid of it yet, but hopefully my cam will help me out.

Awfully kind of him to pose for you and all.
We are feeling the build up out here. It's pretty cool! |
Earliest that I have seen them without their velvet has been the first week of Sept. around here, seems alittle early. Seen some on trail cameras last week that still had the black balls that indictcatied that they were still growing.

That's just a young deer ,right? He looks awfully long thru the face.
|
I'd say 2.5 year old.
But he is from Florida and they are a little smaller down there... no offense... |
sorry, this is the second buck.......pic was taken on Aug. 5, 2008
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...ICAM0019-1.jpg No offense taken, lol.....but we do have a lot of good ones come out each year, so I'm Happy.....would be happier if they were 140'', but hey, you can't have everything, lol...... my guess was 3.5 on both of them.....maybe 2.5 for the one in velvet... |
I dont see them out of velvet until the first week of Sept. here. Good luck MA!!!
