Remington 700 BDL 300 Ultra Mag
I bought this gun back in 2000 and I've only used it on two hunts. It is stainless/black composite and it awesome shape....(no scope)
The 300 Ultra Mag is a flat shootin' powerhouse!!!!!!! I've just now decided to sell it and I'm not even sure what it is worth. FYI.....I am known for selling stuff cheap;) Drop me a line if you are interested. |
Sold pending payment:)

The 300 Ultra Mag is a very popular gun in my area. The ammo is a bit expensive...but you get what you pay for. This gun is a flat shooting "rocket".
The ammo has dropped in price since I first started buying it:) |
"The 300 Ultra Mag is a very popular gun in my area." Thats odd given you cant use rifles in Illinois...

You can in Colorado! Woohoo!
oh... sorry... |
If ya gonna shoot those big boomers then ya oughta be reloading. It's a heck of a lot cheaper and the choices are endless. I've loaded some 130gr HPs for my youngun's Ultra. Don't remember the velocity or anything but they shot surprisingly well. Haven't popped (or exploded) any ground hogs with it yet. Might need to try and remedy that??

Reloading is definitely the way to go with this one....(if you plan on shooting a lot). A gunsmith buddy of mine figured he could load a box of 300 ultra mags for around $15ish. It wouldn't take too many boxes to pay for the initial investment of getting the reloading equipment.
