New Toy!!!Stealth Cam EPIC
Just picked this up at Bass Pro. This little thing is just to cool!!!!
I can clip it on my hat and film all of my hunts this year!!!!! I'm gonna try strapping it to my stabilizer this weekend and take it to a 3D shoot to see how it does... I'll post the pics or video if I get it to work good.... |
They sure are a neat little camera. I wouldnt fasten it to your bow. It will ruin the camera after time. Plus you will probaby never see the shot. Cameras tend to blackout after the shock from the shot. If you try it let us know how it works. I just dont want you to ruin your camera. I wouldnt mind getting one of them to clip to my hat.:)

I was just getting ready to say the same thing. I would leave it on your hat!!!

+1 on bull and firediver, keep it off your weapon. shakey footage and hard on the camera
|
Hey, if you can't get it loaded up, let us know what you think of the audio.
Make me #4 on the Bull-wagon here. We originally tried tie-wrapping the lights to our stabilizers and the dang lens-caps popped off of the lights every third shot or so. I was irritated over a $10 light, I can only imagine the stroke I would have over that much. |
Thanks for the advice. I'm new to the whole camera thing.
I'll just clip it to my hat.... I'm old enough to listen to advice.....:D:D:D:D |
I saw it on hunting forums and then read the users comments on Cabelas. Due to the ratings it got on Cabelas I decided to hold off. If there is more positive things folks will say I may consider it. I really liked the concept and size it was the nagative comments that held me off.
Post some youtube videos in low light of your practice with it. I'd be very interested to see how it works. |
The video is not high quality. The sound isn't the greatest...
But hey, it is $169 and it clips to my hat!!!! And after a few minutes you don't know its there! Will I be trying to sell it to someone to see on the outdoor channel, NO. Will I send it to folks and post it on the web, definitely!! We had a blast at the 3D shoot at my friends house. I have to play with aiming the camera.. It does not work well in low light.. But the web site tells you that!!!! I'm going to play with a combo with my Tika headlamp. I will keep you posted!!!!! |
