NiteTime Tales

Your Online Coon Hunt Is Right Here!
I've been taking a camera along on most outings so this will mainly be a Picture thread of all of my hunts, but I'll also get some short descriptions posted also.
Our main hunters here are, Teddy, Sally, Quest, and Tanner. All 4 are Treeing Walkers Coonhounds.

To kick this off I'll start with Tanner's first Solo tree. 6/10/08
She worked a Track and had it going good until she came to a pile of Tree Tops. That confused her some, but eventually she picked out a tree and laid claim to it. It was a big oak and was a Den, and we looked for a while but could not find the coon.

Took Sally and Tanner last night. They acted a little dumb, so after Sally got this little one treed we grabbed them up and came home. Tanner was at this tree, but she didn't like it all that much since she didn't have it first.

There ain't much that compares to hearin' a couple of hounds on a coon track or a pack of beagles runnin' a rabbit.
The rabbit hunting I'll do now. Running around the woods, thru briars, spider webs and such, ain't as much fun to me as it used to be.

Thanks for reminding of some old memories though.

Thanks for looking!
More coming soon! I just have to transfer them. Also have some of Tanner on the bench that I'll post.

Here's Tanner on a tree that was a little too leafy to see much of anything. She had worked the track a good while and Sally blazed ahead and got treed, looked slick though. Tanner then went and treed on this tree, which was about 10 yards from Sally.
We took them another drop and had some Fireworks cracked off not too far away and that kept them both close and we never got anything going after that.

Nice shots Laura.

I grew up with pointers and labs. (Mainly labs) Somedays I'd rather be working with the dogs than people. Great looking animals!
