Do you apply for lottery tags?
 

I try for moose in Maine and New Hampshire.

a buddy of mine drew for maine moose last year, he was able to harvest one. sometimes you get lucky!

Yes I typically put in for a big game combo tag in Montana to hunt with my wife's family. It is your bull elk, Deer A (buck - WT or Mulie), and your fishing stamp. I also get the archery endorsement just in case.

I haven't yet, but I think it may be the way to go, since they're fairly inexpensive.
