Green Lumenocks!

Finally this year they will be available in green. If its like the fiberoptics the green should be brighter.

bullmoose, but will they work any better? biggest complaint I had with the luminoks is that they didn't work all the time, almost 1 out of 3 in a pack didn't work, and they didn't last that long. found a new lighted nock that so far has not let me down. Archers Flame. have shot each nock over 100 times and they still light every time. even though one is getting a little less bright. when I shot my bear last year, it ran down to a small creek. the arrow came out of it and was in the bottom of the creek.(3"'s deep)and the guide saw it while he was tracking at night. also watched and recovered the little deer I shot this year because of the lighted nock. not saying that luminoks are no good, but after reading some of the replies at bass pro and cabelas, decided to find something new and glad I did. for anyone who wants to check them out, go to: www.Archersflame.com

I did have problems with them but it was because I didnt install them properly. You need to sand the edge of the arrow where the nock goes in. Ever since they told me that tip they work every time. Maybe thats why the reviews were bad. They were not installed properly.

We had problems with the lumenoks and arrow flight. I've never heard of anyone else with that problem but for that reason I never used them in a hunting situation. Maybe it was just a fluke or we had an oddball bad package, I don't know. I would love to use a product like that because I can clearly see the advantages. I may have to check out the Archers Flame. Thanks for sharing that link TLC

HC, not a problem. when I come up with something that works, like to share the info. when I got mine last year, they were $25 for three. a couple bucks cheaper then the luminoks. and they make them to fit the arrow you shoot.

BM, heard that same thing, and even after sanding, still had the troubles. maybe like HC said, just a bad pack of them.

Sounds like you did get a bad pack then. Maybe the batteries were dead.

Does the lighted nock make your arrow heavier?

Its heavier but it really doesnt change your point of impact versus a regular nock. I havent noticed much of a difference any way.
