Steve North - Missouri

My name is Steve North and I became a POSSE member with Archer's Choice 3 years ago. It has been a great ride with Ralph, Vicki, and all the fellow POSSE members. I look forward to many more fun times in the future. I met Ralph and Vicki on a bear hunt about 13 years ago. They are a very classy couple. I started bowhunting with my recurve in 1974 when I got out of the Marine Corp. I’ve always hunted something as far back as I can remember. When I got out of the Marines, I just didn’t want to use a firearm anymore.

I started with a 45 lb. recurve and went up to a 65 lb. shortly after. Now 36 years later I have selected a 55 lb. I did try a compound for 3 years but just didn’t love it. I have hunted whitetails, mule deer, elk, caribou, black bear, javelina, coyote, fox, and turkey with my recurve.
