Kim Edwards - Virginia

I grew up in a small town in southwest Virginia where hunting is a deep rooted tradition; however, I only started hunting after I married my best friend Terry in 1996. I’ll never forget while we were dating he left to go on trips and was constantly hunting. I could never understand why he loved hunting so much because I never was exposed to the hunting environment. I asked him one day why do you hunt, he said “I will just take you sometime”. Well he did and I was hooked for good. Now I have harvested several deer and turkey and have learned so much and I keep learning something new every time I go. I encourage all women to at least go and try this sport of hunting but, it’s not all about hunting. Exploring what God has created is so beautiful just being out their seeing the land and animals is a blessing. I’m very proud to be a part of this industry.

My introduction to filming started with my partner and husband (Terry) in 2006. In 2007 we began filming for Archer's Choice. I feel very fortunate to have this opportunity to be part of the Archer's Choice family & POSSE. Today I am just as excited about filming as if I were hunting. I’m very proud to be part of Archer's Choice POSSE and look forward to many years of hunting adventures in the future.
