"My favorite hunting experience took place near Fairplay, Colorado when my Dad, brothers, and I went out elk and mule deer hunting. Being in camp each night sharing stories from our day are now treasured memories. Sure, we took some nice animals on the trip, but getting those animals wouldn’t have been half as exciting had I not shared the experience with my Dad and older brothers. They especially loved my story about the only bull elk that showed up opening morning that I missed three times."
I reside in central Wisconsin with my husband and son. I’m employed by a local school district as an Elementary Principal and Special Education Coordinator. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family.
Growing up, my Dad started me hunting small game and deer. My family loves the camaraderie that comes with each hunt and it still continues today. Up until two years ago, I had never taken an animal with a bow. After marrying Jess, I observed his love for bow hunting day in and day out, therefore I became interested in the new challenge of learning how to shoot a bow. In 2007, I took my first animal with that bow. I was immediately hooked and enjoy bow hunting more than ever.
This is my first official year of being part of the Archer’s Choice POSSE. I have spent the last couple of years learning to film hunts with my husband and I continue to learn more each time we’re out. I’m thrilled and honored to be a part of the Archer’s Choice team and I truly respect and admire Ralph and Vicki’s passion for hunting.
